A worldwide survey conducted by deVere group showed that 51% of Generation Z individuals would like to receive salaries in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. The press release notes that more than a third of millennials (Generation Y) and more than half of Generation Z want to receive 50% of their salaries in digital currencies.

The organization interviewed more than 750 people under the age of 42 through its special mobile application. The study involved people from Great Britain, Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Australia and Latin America.

The organizers of the survey pointed out that these two generations are the pioneers in the field of digital technologies. Therefore, they are ready and willing to use these technologies in their financial future.

CEO and founder of deVere, Nigel Green noted that millennials and Generation Z have grown up with new technologies, so they are comfortable in using cryptocurrencies and they understand their value and enormous potential. He believes that the results of the study confirm the fact that digital assets are the future of money.

According to the information provided by Bankrate, more than half of Generation Y individuals believe that investing in cryptocurrencies is the best choice. 12% of them believe that digital assets are also suitable for long-term investments.

One of the reasons why young generations are so interested in cryptocurrencies may be the growth of salaries in the relevant field. Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, the largest US employer in the field of digital assets, continues to search for skilled workers. The exchange requires not only developers, but also other specialists, such as business analysts and HR managers. They can expect a salary of more than $100,000 a year. For example, a senior recruiter will receive $155,000, and a business development associate’s salary will be $140,000.

But developers still get the highest salaries. The salary of a backend developer is about $ 160,000 per year, and a team leader will receive $ 260,000. Specialists in the cryptocurrency industry can also get more than $100,000.

Most of the job vacancies in the blockchain field are located in New York and California. A blockchain analyst can expect a salary from $ 66,000 to $ 103,000 per year, and a developer – from 77,000 to 120,000. New York, which may become the cryptocurrency hub of the United States, will get its own city token soon.

According to the social network LinkedIn, over the past year, the number of vacancies in the area of blockchain and cryptocurrencies has increased by more than 600%.
