The new feature is called NFT Tweet Tiles. It will allow users to display an NFT in a dedicated panel within a tweet. It also includes a button to let users click through to link to an NFT on an external site.

In order to introduce the new function, Twitter has entered into a partnership agreement with Jump.trade, Raible, Dapper Labs and Magic Eden. These platforms support several blockchains. The company also affirmed that the feature will support all blockchains that partners work with.

Currently, this feature is being tested on iOS and desktop systems among a limited number of users. A Twitter Blue premium subscription is not required to use this function.

The developers have chosen a good time to introduce the feature, since before the World Cup, the exchange and sale of fan art tokens are becoming popular.

According to recent studies, cryptocurrencies and NFTs are the main content attracting new users to Twitter now. The most resonant were the tweets about Bitcoin and Dogecoin posted by Elon Musk.

Earlier it became known that Twitter may create its own crypto wallet, which will make this social network even more convenient for the crypto community. Moreover, Binance will create a special team that will develop crypto services for Twitter.
