According to the developers, Twitter is working on the creation of its own crypto wallet. This innovation is designed to make the platform even more convenient and attractive for the crypto community.

Software frontend dev Jane Manchun Wong claimed that the company is working on a prototype of a crypto wallet that allows users to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies.

There is no official statement from representatives of the company yet. There were no other details about the development either. At the same time, Twitter users have already shared their opinion about a possible new feature. Some users would like to use a new wallet, while others consider the creation of such a function unreasonable.

The platform has already launched several crypto functions. Last year, the developers added a function that allowed users to donate with Bitcoin. Earlier this year, NFT owners were allowed to display their art tokens as avatars in their profile.

Elon Musk, the future owner of Twitter, has already advocated for a broader integration of crypto payments into the social network. He also offered to allow users to pay for Twitter Blue subscriptions with Dogecoin.
