MICRO LED, The Frame and Neo LED TVs will have a special application that supports NFT. These smart TVs will be released this year. The application will allow users to give a look over the token, as well as view the information about the author and the blockchain metadata.

Users will be able to change the device settings with the Smart Calibration function in order to display each token in line with its specifics. Additionally, the NFT system will support video calls and cloud games.

It is not the first time the company has been working with collectible tokens. Samsung has previously invested in several projects involving NFT. For example, Sky Mavis, the developer of video games, has received funds from the firm. Its most famous project is Axie Infinity. The NFT sales volume in the game exceeded $1 billion in the last year. Samsung also supports the development of metaverses.

NFT support may appear on Instagram as well. At the end of December, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri announced that NFT support will be added to the social network soon. Currently, the platform is hard at work on the promotion of non-fungible tokens.

Samsung is also showing interest in digital currencies. In the spring of last year, the Samsung Blockchain Wallet cryptocurrency wallet with support for Ethereum, TRON and Bitcoin was added to the Galaxy series smartphones. You can use the wallet only on devices with Android version 9.0 and above. Samsung Blockchain Wallet is also secured by user data supplementary protection. It can only be accessed using a PIN or finger print.

Facebook has also introduced a cryptocurrency wallet too. The company has recently started testing it on WhatsApp. USDP stablecoin will be used for transactions.

Besides, Samsung will develop a platform for the digital currency of the Bank of Korea. The company plans to test the digital won operability on its smartphones.
