Users will have to connect a digital wallet to an account in any of these social networks in order to be able to publish NFTs. At the moment, the platforms support such wallets as MetaMask, Dapper, Trust Wallet, Rainbow and CoinbaseWallet. There is no fee for placing NFTs.

At first, Meta planned to add art tokens to Instagram. This was announced by Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri. Then the company’s management announced NFT support in more than 100 countries. The new features are now available in the Asia-Pacific region, North and South America, Africa and the Middle East.

A small circle of NFT creators and collectors in the USA will be able to test NFTs on Facebook. The fact that NFT features were expanded to the largest social network demonstrates the progressive realization of Meta’s plans to provide global access to art tokens.

According to the company’s representatives, Meta strives to make the NFT industry accessible to all and lower entry barriers. The company supports the NFT market for this purpose.

Other companies are also interested in NFTs. Samsung has released a new smart TV lineup with an NFT marketplace, and Coinbase has launched its own NFT platform. Binance has announced the NFT ticketing for the matches of S.S. Lazio. Earlier, the company concluded an agreement with the Italian club.
