The personal virtual IBAN in ecoPayz is now available for all EEA users

In November last year, the ecoPayz payment system announced the integration of a virtual IBAN into its wallets only for some European countries. Now all the customers from the entire European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK are able to get a virtual IBAN number. This new feature will allow faster and cheaper payments to be made throughout Europe. It will also be available to use UK sort codes and account numbers to make transactions.

The IBAN payments will be carried out in EUR, and transfers using the UK sort code and the virtual account number will be made in GBP.

To get the IBAN or the UK sort code, you need to create an ecoPayz account and have at least the Silver status. You can get it for free by providing the necessary documents for verification. You can find out the IBAN number or the UK sort code in your ecoPayz account. Transfers will be free of charge until February 22, 2022.
