When transferring funds from your ecoPayz app to a bank account, it is a compulsory requirement that you confirm your source of income. To do this, you need to select the category of your source of income from the drop-down list in the app and upload a photo or scan of your evidentiary document.
ecoPayz is a payment system, not a banking structure. However, by law, it is obliged to comply with all the requirements of the financial regulator. In addition, many transactions, such as transfers to a bank account, are processed by intermediary banks. That is why ecoPayz has to request information about your main source of income to process such transactions.
Now, assuming you do receive income from an online platform, for example, from poker or from a forex broker. Although this is a source of funds for you, still by law, you need to indicate your main source of income or livelihood when making transfers in ecoPayz.
For example, any of the following could be your main source of income:
Of course, the amount of funds should be comparable to your main source of income. If you live on an allowance of 15 thousand rubles a month, withdrawing from a poker site in the amount of 5 thousand dollars will seem suspicious.
As to what document to upload, it depends on the type of income selected in the app. For example, it can be a lease agreement, an agreement with an employer, or an investment account statement. If, for example, poker is the main activity that brings money, a tax return or bank statement for the last three months will be sufficient. A property sale agreement (for example, an apartment or a car) for a period not older than one year can also confirm the ownership of a large amount of money.
When uploading any document for confirmation of source of income, make sure that it is of good quality – all data is clear and readable, and the document must not have been edited or modified using a graphic editor, otherwise, it will be rejected. The file can be uploaded in JPG (photo or scan) or PDF format.
