Bitcoin to be integrated into Twitter

Jack Patrick Dorsey, the creator and software developer of the social network, Twitter, said that he will add Bitcoin to the social network and make the support of Bitcoin one of the Company’s development priorities. The integration of Bitcoin will become an incentive for the rapid development of the company through innovation and the creation of new products. The entrepreneur plans to integrate the crypto asset into several Twitter products and services such as paid subscriptions, commerce, and author support.

As a fan of Bitcoin, the Twitter boss said that Bitcoin is the most relevant cryptocurrency in terms of choosing a global currency of the Internet and, thus, it will be integrated into Twitter’s products and services. According to the entrepreneur, the need for the integration of a cryptocurrency into a social network is indisputable, and the choice of Bitcoin is obvious because the standard of openness inherent on the Internet has made this a move in the right direction.

According to Dorsey, cryptocurrency is an important part of the future and the best choice for investment. The founder of the social network added that in the three main areas of the development of Twitter, more attention will be focused on Bitcoin. The other two areas of development are artificial intelligence and decentralization.

Meanwhile, Jack Dorsey is also the CEO of Square Inc, a financial services company that develops payment systems. The service announced the creation of a hardware cryptocurrency wallet and the preparation of an open-source platform for financial services.
