On October 16, 2018, electronic payment systems Skrill and NETELLER made changes to their fees scale.
From now on, all deposits, regardless of status, will be subject to commission - 1% at Skrill and 2.5% at NETELLER.
If you make a deposit of € 20,000 (Skrill) and $ 20,000 (NETELLER) and higher you don’t pay fees to payment system.
Also, when withdrawing from your Skrill account to your bank account, no currency exchange fee will be charged.
How new fees will be charged on deposits?
With a single deposit to Skrill wallet of € 20,000 and $ 20,000 in NETELLER and higher, the payment system will not hold a commission. A user will have to pay only the bank commission and for currency conversion. All other deposit methods will be charged a fee of 1.00% at Skrill, and 2.5% at NETELLER.
Percentage of the new fees will depend not on the status of the account, but on the amount of the transaction.
What withdrawal methods are subject to new commissions?
Skrill and Neteller will apply new commissions only for those types of deposits that are located on the deposit tab.
These changes do not apply to transfers between accounts and cashouts from merchants, such as bookmakers, poker rooms, forex, etc. unless the latter charge fee for withdrawal from their side.
What are another changes in the scale of Skrill fees?
Skrill also announced that from Oct.16. users will be able to send money from their Skrill accounts to a bank account for free.
